Get your powder blue tux pressed, baby! On Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m., South Brooklyn Community High School at 173 Conover Street will host The Red Hook Prom. The annual gala benefits Cora Dance, with all proceeds supporting the facility’s pay-what-you-can dance classes for ages 4 to 94+, as well as development of Red Hook’s first studio theater.
The event, voluntarily produced by Red Hook’s restaurant and catering company home/made, features food, punch, music by DJ Body Rock (80′s jams and requests), dance lessons from Cora Dance pros, a photo booth, and… the knighting of Prom King and Queen!
Tix are available online, ranging from $20 to $100, plus service fees.
